Lycoming College is a small liberal arts college of 1,400 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It has published an online game that is designed to teach students about what is plagiarism.
Called Gobin Threat, it is an entertaining way for students to learn what is plagiarisms and how to avoid it. The game takes no special skills or knowledge.
It is appropriate for undergraduate students, and I will require astudents to view it prior to writing term papers for me.

I tried playing it, but it was difficult to find the goblins. In fact, I got stuck in one of the rooms, and could not find the final goblin. Maybe it is just not working right.
Yes, they made that last goblin very tricky to find. I’m sure there’s a way to reason out where it might be, but I tried the brute “thousand click” method until I clicked on the goblin’s hiding place.
That the last goblin on each page was trick to find kept me want to do one more page, so I could get better at finding it. Very clever.
